Princípios do treinamento de força – A individualidade biológica – Treino Mestre
Iniciando a série de artigos sobre o treino de força, nesse vamos falar dos seus princípios e os riscos de não respeitar a individualidade biológica.
Como o treinamento de força impõe uma série de alterações ao corpo e estas mudanças podem tanto ser positivas, quando o treino é bem executado, quanto negativas, quando não são tomados os devidos cuidados, irei tratar numa série de artigos sobre os princípios científicos do treino de força. Basicamente, os princípios são os mesmos do treinamento desportivo em geral, afinal ambos buscam a melhora de uma condição física e orgânica.
O primeiro, e talvez mais importante, é o princípio da individualidade biológica. Você provavelmente já ouviu alguém que disse que faz a mesma série que algum famoso, ou que usa a mesma dieta de um amigo ou conhecido. Pois bem, nestes casos, todos estão infringindo o primeiro princípio, o da individualidade biológica. Nenhum de nós tem um corpo ou metabolismo igual, portanto o treino também não poderia assim ser. Segundo Tubino (1990):
“chamamos de individualidade biológica o fenômeno que explica as variações entre os elementos da mesma espécie, o que faz que com que não existam seres iguais entre si”.
Portanto, é importante que você tenha em mente que o treinamento de força segue este princípio e que ignorá-lo é receita certa de fracasso.
Mesmo sendo científico, este princípio transcende para a lógica. Imagine que um bom profissional montou um treino para alguém sem histórico de lesões, ativo, que tem uma rotina tranquila e que não gera maiores desgastes físicos. Esta mesma pessoa consegue manter uma alimentação bastante regrada. Pois bem, imagine que um outro cidadão, amigo do primeiro, decide copiar seu treino. Porém este, tem histórico de lesões, está acima do peso, tem um trabalho extremamente estressante e se alimenta basicamente de lanches. Dentro desta perspectiva, quais as chances de o treino do primeiro surti efeitos positivos no segundo indivíduo? Poucas para não dizer nenhuma.
Lussac (2008) afirma que:
“Todo ser humano possui por regra, uma estrutura e formação física e psíquica própria. O treinamento individual surte melhores resultados, pois obedeceria as características e necessidades do indivíduo de maneira mais específica”.
Outro fator que deve ser considerado quando falamos do princípio da individualidade biológica diz respeito a questão genótipa e fenótipa. Segundo Benda & Greco (2001):
“O genótipo é o responsável pelo potencial intrínseco do indivíduo. Estão incluídos fatores como composição corporal, biótipo, altura, força máxima possível e também percentual de fibras musculares de ambos os tipos, entre outros. Por sua vez o fenótipo é responsável pelo potencial ou então pela evolução das capacidades envolvidas no genótipo. Aqui incluímos o desenvolvimento da capacidade de adaptação ao esforço”.
Portanto cada um de nós precisa ter tanto o fenótipo quanto o genótipo respeitados dentro do treinamento de força. Assim, o profissional que vai montar o treinamento tem de montar uma planilha que se enquadre no perfil da pessoa, nunca o oposto.
Riscos de não respeitar a individualidade biológica
Não respeitar a individualidade biológica Não faz com que apenas os resultados que ficam prejudicados com um treino geral, que não respeita suas especificidades. Sua saúde também fica prejudicada quando sua individualidade não é respeitada. Todos nós temos uma memória motora e muscular, que é a soma de nossas experiências e ações. Pessoas que já treinaram, tem uma resposta fisiológica e metabólica do que pessoas sedentárias. Porém, mesmo os que treinaram já, não tem uma mesma rotina, um mesmo histórico de vida e de alimentação.
Com um treino generalista você pode vir a ter lesões, já que seu genótipo não é respeitado na montagem do treino. Além disso, um treino generalista não respeita fatores de risco, como o sobrepeso, os riscos cardíacos, como hipertensão, além de possíveis fatores metabólicos como a diabetes. Assim sendo, o ideal é que você procure um bom profissional de educação física ( os que copiam treinos de outras pessoas não contam) para montar seu programa de treino de acordo com suas necessidades e especificidades.
