Prefeitura promove atividades em comemoração ao Mês da Mulher

A Prefeitura de São José dos Campos promove ao longo do mês de março, diversas atividades em comemoração e conscientização ao mês das mulheres.
O principal evento dedicado ao Dia Internacional da Mulher acontece nesta sexta-feira (8), no Largo São Benedito, na região central. As munícipes poderão fazer avaliações de saúde e receber informações sobre a rede de proteção social e sobre as melhorias implementadas pela Prefeitura, como a criação da Patrulha Maria da Penha para o combate à violência familiar e doméstica. Além de prestigiar apresentações de dança e participar de oficina de maquiagem.
Também estarão presentes no evento lideranças de OSCs (Organizações da Sociedade Civil) e outros parceiros como o Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Mulher.
A Prefeitura também realiza nas unidades do Cras (Centro de Referência da Assistência Social) rodas de conversa abertas ao público, com reflexões sobre a data e os serviços disponíveis no município.

Rede de proteção
São José dispõe de uma ampla e integrada rede de proteção às mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica e familiar. Ações constantes de prevenção e orientação são realizadas na cidade, lideradas pela Assessoria de Políticas Públicas para Mulheres.
O Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Mulher é atuante e trabalha em parceria com a Prefeitura.
Nas três unidades do Creas (Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social), vinculadas à Prefeitura, o serviço é especializado e atende mulheres com direitos violados por negligência, abandono e violência.
As mulheres que sofrem ameaças e correm risco de morte têm à disposição abrigo protegido, seguro e sigiloso, com toda a segurança. Também existem serviços e programas voltados para a saúde integral da mulher.
