Da teoria à prática: ações ambientais em alusão ao Dia da Água envolvem a comunidade em Bonito – Prefeitura Municipal de Bonito
Nas últimas duas semanas a Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente, em parceria com a IASB (Instituto das Águas da Serra da Bodoquena), Polícia Militar Ambiental, Corpo de Bombeiros e atrativos realizou diversas atividades de educação ambiental e mutirões de limpeza dos córregos urbanos e no Rio Formoso, com foco na conscientização sobre o tema da água, em celebração ao Dia Mundial da Água, comemorado em 22 de março.
As atividades de educação ambiental foram realizadas nas escolas municipais, CEIs, bem como na Praça da Liberdade, com um estande da Sanesul, atendendo os alunos das escolas particulares e demais pessoas que transitavam pelo local.
Além disso, foram realizados mutirões de limpeza dos córregos Restinga e Bonito e do Rio Formoso, sendo retirados diversos tipos de resíduos das águas, desde garrafas, latas, até pneus. Também foi promovido um bate-papo aberto com representantes do IMASUL e PMA para discutir legislação ambiental com munícipes e proprietários rurais, além da apresentação do Projeto Florestinha de Campo Grande para crianças e jovens do município.
“Durante esta semana da água, nós pensamos em abordar diversos eixos no que tange a conservação da água, desde questões de educação ambiental nas escolas, até questões técnicas e de esclarecimentos, como no bate-papo e também ações diretamente práticas, como os mutirões de limpeza. A gente entende que esse recurso, ainda mais em Bonito, é de suma importância, muito valioso e para conservar ele a gente depende de tarefas multidisciplinares, em todos os eixos e ramos da sociedade. A gente fica feliz com a participação da comunidade e instituições que a gente realizou e a proposta é continuar trabalhando desta forma para preservar as águas de Bonito”, detalha o secretário de Meio Ambiente, Thyago Sabino.
