Saúde alerta população de MS para atuar na eliminação de focos residenciais – Agência de Noticias do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul
A alta incidência de infestação do mosquito ‘Aedes aegypti’ – que transmite dengue e outras doenças – e o aumento de casos registrados em Mato Grosso do Sul provoca alerta da SES (Secretaria de Estado de Saúde), que já mobiliza ações complementares em todo o Estado.
“Desde o ano passado a Secretaria de Estado de Saúde iniciou uma campanha de combate à dengue, nos primeiros dias de dezembro, porque prevíamos a possibilidade de epidemia. Já temos previsão de receber a vacina contra a doença e damos todo o suporte para o trabalho nos 79 municípios. Mas a sociedade precisa atuar no combate, é uma responsabilidade muito grande que cabe a cada um”, disse o secretário de Estado de Saúde, Maurício Simões.
Municípios localizados na faixa de fronteira com o Paraguai – Aral Moreira, Sete Quedas, Paranhos e Coronel Sapucaia –, e na divisa com Minas Gerais e Goiás, estados que já decretaram situação de emergência por conta da dengue, apresentam a maior incidência de casos prováveis, de acordo com o boletim epidemiológico da SES, divulgado na terça-feira (6).
Enquanto a Cepdec (Coordenadoria Estadual de Proteção e Defesa Civil) coordena atuação conjunta dos órgãos estaduais e municipais com o apoio das Forças Armadas – Exército, Marinha e Aeronáutica –, o alerta para que a população continue a eliminar focos de proliferação do vetor continua válido.
“Eliminar recipientes com água, dentro de fora de casa, é a principal medida para evitar a proliferação do mosquito e com isso a doença. Cuide do seu quintal, limpe a casa, descarte o lixo da forma correta, para que não tenha água parada em latas, garrafas e outros recipientes. É importante ficar atento e sempre vistoriar seu quintal, sem esquecer da parte de dentro da residência”, afirmou Mauro Lúcio Rosário, coordenador estadual de controle de vetores da SES.
É dentro das residências que estão 80% dos focos de proliferação do mosquito ‘Aedes aegypti’, e por isso a SES alerta a população, para que contribua nas ações de controle e extinção dos criadouros.
O Ministério da Saúde divulgou que para combater os focos do mosquito bastam dez minutos da rotina de acordo com a realidade de moradia de cada um. Dez minutos é o tempo necessário para garantir que caixas d´água estejam bem fechadas, para jogar areia nos vasos de planta, garantir que os sacos de lixo estejam bem amarrados, conferir calhas, evitar pneus em locais descobertos, não acumular sucatas e entulhos e esvaziar garrafas PET, potes e vasos de maneira correto.
O reforço da importância do engajamento da população no combate ao mosquito também foi discutido em reunião esta manhã (9), entre a SES e a Sesau (Secretaria Municipal de Saúde), de Campo Grande.
No encontro a Cepdec e a Coordenação Estadual de Controle de Vetores da SES estabeleceu a forma de atuação para atender os pontos estratégicos de visitação para controle mecânico dos focos em Campo Grande. “Vamos contribuir com as visitas domiciliares, com o apoio das forças de segurança, no sentido de atuar com visitação, força tarefa e mutirões, de acordo com a necessidade, para bloqueio e retirada de materiais que acumulam água e podem servir de criadouros”, explicou Mauro Lúcio.
O trabalho conjunto, de vistorias em áreas prioritárias e com maior número de moradores, deve ter início após o período e Carnaval.
Vacinação
O Ministério da Saúde iniciou ontem (8), a distribuição das vacinas contra dengue para os municípios que atendem aos critérios definidos. A operação logística irá trabalhar ininterruptamente nos próximos dias para garantir a entrega o mais breve possível.
A imunização começa pelas crianças de 10 a 11 anos e irá avançar a faixa etária progressivamente, assim que novos lotes forem entregues pelo laboratório fabricante. A estratégia, de início da vacinação por faixa etária, permite que mais municípios recebam as doses neste primeiro momento e também é baseada no maior índice de hospitalização por dengue dentro da faixa etária de 10 a 14 anos.
O lote inicial de vacinas, com 712 mil doses, será enviado para Mato Grosso do Sul, com previsão de chegar nos próximos dias, e outros oito estados, além do Distrito Federal, contemplando 315 municípios.
