Prefeito firma parceria com o Dnit para início das obras na Barreira do Castelo Branco e assistência das famílias
A Prefeitura de João Pessoa e o Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (Dnit) estão dando uma solução definitiva para a Barreira do Castelo Branco. Após a gestão municipal avançar com programa social e de habitação, com a realocação dos moradores para locais seguros, o órgão federal autorizou, na tarde desta segunda-feira (18), o início das obras de proteção da barreira, que prometem acabar com deslizamentos de terra no local.
A solenidade aconteceu na sede do Dnit, no bairro de Cruz das Armas. Na prática, é uma ação em parceria, com impacto social, de infraestrutura e mobilidade urbana. O prefeito Cícero Lucena, que mais cedo já havia se reunido com representantes das comunidades que fazem parte do Complexo Beira Rio, no entorno da barreira, destacou que a Prefeitura de João Pessoa está fazendo a assistência das famílias por meio da Compra Assistida, Aluguel Social e os residenciais que estão sendo construídos, e que espera que a obra já apresente resultados no próximo inverno.
“O Dnit fazendo a parte dele, a Prefeitura também, no programa habitacional, com o diálogo com a comunidade, com as soluções que a gestão hoje tem para resolver casos críticos, principalmente de áreas de risco. E essa parceria, ela se consolida de uma forma muito responsável. O importante é que é uma obra de prevenção, porque nós tivemos a oportunidade de conviver com várias ocorrências no local, em vários períodos chuvosos na nossa cidade”, afirmou o prefeito.
A intervenção na Barreira do Castelo Branco terá investimento de R$ 7 milhões e previsão de conclusão de seis meses. O superintendente do órgão, Arnaldo Monteiro, disse que as obras não terão grande impacto na região, no tocante a transtornos no trânsito da BR-230. Ele disse que essa solução tão esperada só será possível devido ao plano da Prefeitura de João Pessoa às comunidades impactadas, com projetos para relocação dos moradores.
“O problema só será resolvido totalmente porque há uma parceria com a prefeitura, onde ela está removendo as famílias que estão em cima da barreira. Essa parceria dá certo e tudo que for para melhorar para João Pessoa e, particularmente, para minha querida BR-230, nós vamos estar à disposição”, afirmou o superintendente, que também agradeceu ao senador Veneziano Vital do Rego, que estava presente no evento, pela interlocução com o Ministério dos Transportes para viabilizar os recursos.
Diálogo – No início da tarde, o prefeito Cícero Lucena se reuniu com moradores representantes das comunidades Santa Clara, Padre Hildon Bandeira e São Rafael, do Complexo Beira Rio, na região da barreira do Castelo Branco. Ele apresentou o mapeamento de 107 casas da região que, segundo o estudo, estão nas áreas com riscos mais iminentes. Houve diálogo no tocante as famílias que concordam morar nos conjuntos habitacionais que estão sendo construídos pela prefeitura. As casas com maior risco, os moradores podem optar pela Compra Assistida ou Aluguel Social.
Soluções – A Compra Assistida é um benefício direcionado às famílias que vivem em áreas de risco de desabamento, inundações ou precariedade habitacional nas comunidades que fazem parte do Complexo Beira Rio. Prevê a doação de um imóvel de até R$ 115 mil em qualquer lugar da cidade que esteja com documentação regular, em uma rua calçada e com saneamento básico. Já o Aluguel Social é uma modalidade oferecida enquanto as famílias estão no processo de mediação da Compra Assistida ou aguardando a construção do residencial da Beira Rio, que está em execução pela Prefeitura de João Pessoa.
