Prefeitura e Saae/Sorocaba prosseguem com limpezas de travessias de córregos – Noticias

A Prefeitura de Sorocaba e o Serviço Autônomo de Água e Esgoto (Saae) prosseguem, a todo vapor, com os serviços de limpeza de tubulações de travessias de córregos por todo o munícipio. A iniciativa, de cunho preventivo, segue com os trabalhos diários ao longo desta semana e, ao todo, serão atendidos 25 pontos espalhados pela cidade.
O objetivo é melhorar a vazão da água, evitando eventuais transbordamentos, em caso de chuva intensa. A ação é executada pelos servidores da autarquia, com apoio de uma retroescavadeira ou escavadeira hidráulica, para a retirada do sedimento depositado sob cada travessia, além do mato e de todo tipo de resíduo carreado pela correnteza, em dias de chuva.
“Ao longo do ano, o Saae/Sorocaba realiza vistorias técnicas por todos os córregos e travessias existentes no município. Assim que verificado, os serviços são programados e têm os trabalhos ainda mais intensificados nesta época do ano, devido à quantidade de material carregado durante as chuvas intensas”, destaca o diretor-geral do Saae/Sorocaba, Tiago Suckow.
A autarquia, neste momento, realiza as limpezas das travessias nos seguintes locais: ruas Comendador Vicente do Amaral, Karin Jammal, Professora Guida Mares, Avenida Santa Cruz, Waldomiro de Almeida Barros, Benedito Henrique da Costa, Leondino Caramez, Firmino Minelli, Pedro Dell Santoro, Pedro Pegoretti, Angelina P. Costa, Júlio Magalhães Junior, Antero José da Rosa, Jairo Meneconi, Londres, Luiz Mendes de Almeida, Marcelo Scotto, Aclimação, Ângelo Vial, Luiza de Carvalho, Alpheu Castro Santos, Avenida Adão Pereira de Camargo e Avenida Manoel Camargo Sampaio, Parque dos Espanhóis e Parque dos Italianos.
Segundo o diretor operacional de Esgoto do Saae/Sorocaba, Charles Camargo, que também responde pelas intervenções na rede de drenagem, tais ações em andamento são executadas em conjunto com as outras demandas das equipes de manutenção preventiva de galerias, córregos e Bacias de Contenção, do Saae/Sorocaba.
Ao longo do ano, a autarquia já executou os serviços preventivos também em córregos dos bairros Brigadeiro Tobias, Jardim Brasilândia, Jardim Leocádia, Jardim Paulistano, Jardim Piratininga, Jardim Prestes de Barros (conhecido como Lavapés), Mineirão, Vila Barão e Vila Mathilde, além das Bacias de Contenção do Abaeté, Campolim, Norcross e Rua Panamá (Barcelona), mais o desassoreamento da Bacia 1 do Reservatório de Detenção de Cheias (RDC) da Água Vermelha.
