Nova Iguaçu lança Programa “Bolsa Atleta”
A Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu vai dar uma grande ajuda para que atletas e paratletas da cidade participem de competições nacionais e internacionais. A Secretaria Municipal de Esporte e Lazer lançou o Programa “Bolsa Atleta”, que vai ajudar financeiramente os esportistas a partir de 14 anos, com cinco cotas distintas de benefício nas categorias olímpico ou paraolímpico, internacional, nacional, estadual e estudantil. A expectativa é que 121 atletas sejam beneficiados.
As inscrições começam no dia 4 de dezembro e vão até 4 de janeiro na na Secretaria de Esporte e Lazer, na Rua Iracema Soares Pereira Junqueira, 65, centro de Nova Iguaçu, das 9h às 17h.
O valor do repasse será liberado mensalmente e depositado em conta corrente do atleta ou de seu representante legal. As bolsas variam de R$ 440 (categoria estudantil) a R$ 2.350 (olímpico ou paraolímpico).
“O Bolsa Atleta é fundamental para que os atletas iguaçuanos possam focar ainda mais no esporte e representar muito bem a nossa cidade em competições nacionais e internacionais”, afirmou o prefeito de Nova Iguaçu, Rogerio Lisboa. “Essa bolsa também vai ter um papel fundamental na formação de uma nova geração, para que possam se desenvolver com mais recursos”.
Segundo o secretário de Esporte e Lazer de Nova Iguaçu, Fernandinho Moquetá, esse patrocínio será responsável pelo surgimento de novos talentos no município.
“É um investimento na juventude de Nova Iguaçu. Os jovens terão um incentivo a mais na hora de treinar. Estaremos descobrindo novos talentos”, destacou.
Os candidatos devem ter atenção aos documentos necessários, pois a falta deles pode eliminar o atleta de conseguir o patrocínio. Entre os documentos estão a declaração em papel timbrado da Entidade Nacional de Administração do Esporte (Confederado) – específica para atletas/paratletas de modalidades olímpicas e paraolímpicas; currículo esportivo com os resultados obtidos nos últimos três anos, contendo fotos, publicações em jornais e revistas das conquistas alcançadas, entre outros.
Não poderão candidatar-se ao patrocínio aquele que estiver cumprindo suspensão imposta por Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva, em sentença transitada em julgado, por resultado adverso em exame oficial de antidoping ou violação das regras antidoping contidas na Convenção Internacional contra o Doping nos Esportes ou que tenha sido condenado.
