A Secretaria Municipal de Defesa Civil de Nova Iguaçu (SMDC) vai realizar, nesta quinta-feira (30), um grande exercício simulado de desocupação de emergência nas escolas da rede municipal. A ação será promovida, simultaneamente, nas 32 unidades participantes do Projeto “Escolas Seguras – Desenvolvendo a Resiliência Através da Educação”. O objetivo é desenvolver a cultura de prevenção de acidentes em alunos, professores e funcionários para que eles atuem também em ambientes fora dos colégios.
No dia do simulado, o responsável de cada escola vai tocar o sinal por mais de 30 segundos como alerta de emergência. Os alunos vão formar filas dentro da sala conforme foi orientado em treinamentos anteriores para essas situações e seguir as instruções dos professores até chegarem a um local seguro, seguindo a rota de fuga de emergência. . Após isso, será avaliado o tempo de desocupação, com todos voltando para as salas.
“O exercício consiste em dar ao aluno a capacidade de avaliar as situações de emergência e como lidar com elas para uma maior proteção sua e do ambiente em que se encontra”, afirmou o secretário municipal de Defesa Civil, Jorge Ribeiro Lopes.
O projeto da Defesa Civil conta com a parceria da Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SEMED) e do Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas de Desastres da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Durante uma semana os integrantes da escola participam de oficinas, treinamento e um exercício simulado de desocupação durante um incêndio.
O projeto é promovido desde 2017 e já chegou a 35 escolas. Somente este ano foram seis unidades envolvidas, com 679 alunos e 110 professores e funcionários capacitados. A expectativa é que cerca de 8 mil alunos, professores e funcionários participem da atividade.
