Dia do Trabalho: emprego devolve integridade e saúde mental – Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro
Às vezes a vida impõe revezes que parecem incontornáveis. Há mais ou menos um ano, Michelle Lopes, 24 anos, precisou ser atendida no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS) Rubens Corrêa, em Irajá, na Zona Norte do Rio. Mesmo sem vislumbrar, a princípio, uma saída para seus problemas, decidiu dar uma chance para o tratamento e, aos poucos, o nó que parecia difícil foi se desfazendo. Até que, cerca de um mês atrás, uma oportunidade inesperada pôs fim numa de suas maiores angústias, fator subjacente a diversos quadros psíquicos: a instabilidade financeira. Ela foi um dos 23 usuários de CAPS contratados recentemente pela empresa Moda Objetiva, com a qual a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde firmou uma parceria pela reinserção de pessoas no mercado de trabalho.
Funcionária dedicada, Michelle comemora o Dia do Trabalhador de carteira assinada como auxiliar de operador de caixa e, principalmente, com ânimo para continuar.
– Eu realmente estava numa situação ruim e, graças à ajuda do pessoal do CAPS, consegui me reerguer financeiramente. Ainda tem algumas coisinhas a serem resolvidas. Mas, com o tempo, tudo isso estará resolvido.
Com o propósito de promover a geração de renda e incentivar a economia solidária, a SMS firmou convênio com a iniciativa privada para a contratação de usuários da rede de atenção psicossocial. Atualmente, a iniciativa inclui mais nove empresas: McDonald’s, Dom Atacadista, Supermarket, SuperPrix, Grão da Terra, Prezunic, Supermercados Campeão, Superbom e a Abreu Engenharia. Mais de 35 pessoas já foram contratadas. Vale destacar que, além de oferecer atendimento a pacientes com transtornos mentais, os CAPS trabalham na reabilitação psicossocial dos usuários, prestando assistência na busca por moradia, emprego e outras demandas, sempre com foco na restauração da autonomia individual e da cidadania.
– Me dediquei nesses últimos meses para conseguir seguir adiante, com ansiedade para começar logo no emprego. Estou há um mês no novo serviço e me adaptei superbem – contou Michelle, que ficou sabendo da oportunidade no próprio CAPS, com a ajuda de seus profissionais de referência que continuam fazendo seu acompanhamento.
Programa Seguir em Frente
Estas são histórias de pessoas que atravessaram não só seus próprios obstáculos particulares, mas também as barreiras estabelecidas pela sociedade. Mesmo seguindo o tratamento, pessoas com transtornos psíquicos ainda enfrentam muita resistência e preconceito por parte dos contratantes — e isso tem nome: psicofobia.
Outra iniciativa da SMS para a reintegração social de usuários da rede de Saúde Mental é o Programa Seguir em Frente, plano de ação da Prefeitura do Rio para a proteção das pessoas em situação de rua. Lucas Marques, 38 anos, vivia nas ruas do Centro até dezembro de 2023, quando foi inaugurado o PAR Carioca (Ponto de Apoio na Rua), então instalado na Avenida Henrique Valadares, perto da Praça da Cruz Vermelha, e hoje em funcionamento no Maracanã. Ele foi encaminhado ao RUA Sonho Meu (Residência e Unidade de Acolhimento), integrado ao CAPSad Dona Ivone Lara, em Cascadura, e recebeu tratamento para depressão e uso abusivo de drogas.
Lucas também foi inserido na estratégia de reinserção produtiva do Seguir em Frente, pela qual os usuários recebem bolsas de estágio por trabalhos realizados dentro da própria unidade, como limpeza e manutenção, conforme assiduidade. Ele conseguiu alugar um imóvel e hoje trabalha como prestador de serviços autônomo na Central de Abastecimento do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Ceasa-RJ).
– Com a ajuda do Seguir em Frente, consegui me libertar das drogas e voltar ao mercado de trabalho. Fui reconquistando o que perdi, faço o tratamento direitinho, e hoje minha vida está 100% – contou Lucas.
A oferta de bolsas de estágio faz parte de uma das fases do Programa Seguir em Frente, que já incluiu 878 usuários na estratégia de reinserção produtiva. Além do PAR Maracanã, da RUA Sonho Meu e do CAPS Ivone Lara, o programa também contempla a RUA Sorriso Aberto e o CAPS Arthur Bispo do Rosário, que funcionam de maneira integrada na Taquara.
A rede municipal de saúde conta com 34 CAPS, unidades dedicadas ao atendimento de pessoas com transtorno mental severo e persistente, e/ou com transtorno mental decorrentes do uso prejudicial de álcool e/ou outras drogas que precisam de acompanhamento intensivo. Os CAPS II funcionam de segunda a sexta, das 8 às 17h. Já os CAPS tipo III têm funcionamento 24h, durante os sete dias da semana e com oferta de acolhimento noturno para usuários em situação de crise, conforme avaliação da equipe. Os atendimentos de primeira vez no CAPS III são realizados preferencialmente das 8h às 19h.
