Lei garante a estudantes com deficiência vagas de estágio nos órgãos estaduais – Agência de Noticias do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul
A lei sancionada pelo governador Eduardo Riedel assegura a estudantes com deficiência 10% das vagas abertas para estágios nos órgãos da administração direta, autarquias e fundações do Poder Executivo Estadual. A nova regra entrou em vigor nesta terça-feira (9), após publicação no Diário Oficial do Estado.
Entre os beneficiários estão estudantes com deficiência que estejam frequentando ensino regular em instituições de educação superior, educação profissional, ensino médio, educação especial ou nos anos finais do ensino fundamental no Mato Grosso do Sul.
Também serão asseguradas aos estagiários as adaptações necessárias para o desempenho das atividades. A iniciativa foi do deputado Antônio Vaz, que apresentou projeto de lei na Assembleia Legislativa. A proposta foi aprovada na Casa de Leis e agora sancionada.
O objetivo da lei é servir como auxílio para inclusão social e profissional das pessoas com deficiência, ao garantir vagas em estágios que são atos que ajudam na formação profissional do estudante, visando inclusive uma preparação para o mercado de trabalho.
Esta experiência profissional nas repartições, autarquias e fundações estaduais vai contribuir com a auto estima do estudante na formação acadêmica ou técnica, visando sua autonomia e independência financeira.
“É uma ação extremamente positiva, que vem proporcionar a estes estudantes que muitas vezes estão às margens da empregabilidade, estão às margens desta inclusão, por isso é tão importante e necessária. A legislação vem dar equidade e possibilidade para as pessoas com deficiência estarem estagiando nos órgãos, fundações e autarquias estaduais. Considero uma ação extremamente importante, com inclusão no mercado de trabalho”, afirmou Telma Nantes de Matos, subsecretária estadual de Políticas Públicas para Pessoas com Deficiência.
