Seplan abre licitação para reformar prédio que abrigará nova sede da Guarda Municipal
A Prefeitura de João Pessoa (PMJP) por meio da Secretaria de Planejamento (Seplan), realizará dia 25 de abril a licitação para reforma do prédio onde funcionará a nova sede da Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Urbana e Cidadania (Semusb. O investimento global, na modalidade Concorrência (nº 08002/2024) é da ordem de R$ 7,3 milhões.
A edificação, localizada no final da avenida Cardoso Vieira, bairro do Varadouro, já foi sede do poder Executivo municipal e chegou a abrigar também um shopping popular. Sua recuperação acontece em sintonia com as ações de revitalização do Centro Histórico, anunciadas em 12 de dezembro passado pelo prefeito Cícero Lucena e o governador João Azevedo, dentro do projeto de parceria “Viva o Centro”.

O projeto de reforma, elaborado pela Diretoria de Planejamento e Urbanismo da Seplan, já tem aprovação do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico Nacional (Iphan) e do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico da Paraíba (Iphaep).
De acordo com o Aviso de Licitação publicado no Diário Eletrônico do município, edição da quinta-feira (21/03/2024), o edital e seus anexos encontram-se à disposição dos interessados no Portal da Transparência e, de forma suplementar, na sala de reunião da Comissão Especial de Licitação da secretaria, no 4º andar do prédio anexo no Centro Administrativo Municipal (CAM).
