Cícero Lucena inspeciona obra da calçadinha do Cabo Branco e projeta conclusão para janeiro
O prefeito Cícero Lucena inspecionou, nesta quarta-feira (27), as obras de reestruturação da calçadinha do Cabo Branco, no trecho próximo a ladeira, que após intervenções de proteção está sendo transformada em uma área para convivência, com empraçamento, área verde e mirante. Na oportunidade, o gestor projetou a conclusão dos trabalhos para o final do próximo mês e disse que a população da Capital vai ganhar um dos espaços mais aprazíveis da cidade, num dos mais belos cartões-postais.
“O mar já tinha avançado, derrubado toda a ciclovia, que agora já está sendo reconstruída. Já foi feita a proteção, vamos fazer o empraçamento, para que os moradores de João Pessoa e aqueles que nos visitam possam ter mais um local aprazível, bom para se curtir e conviver e também admirar a beleza que Deus nos deu da natureza”, afirmou o prefeito.
O secretário de Infraestrutura (Seinfra), Rubens Falcão, explicou que a Prefeitura já executou a etapa mais complexa da obra, que foi a de substituição dos gabiões por estacas-prancha, que estão protegendo a calçadinha contra o avanço do mar, além da drenagem e acesso à praia. Nesta etapa, de requalificação, os trabalhos seguirão em um ritmo ainda mais acelerado para serem concluídos antes do prazo estimado.
“Estamos avançando na recuperação da ciclovia, área de passeio, área de vivência e convivência. O projeto ainda prevê toda iluminação em LED. A gente espera estar devolvendo à população esse trecho da praia no final de janeiro. Vamos ter um mirante aqui, todo um guarda-copo de inox com vidro para que quem utiliza essa área possa admirar a praia de Cabo Branco”, explicou o secretário.
Serviço já executado – A Prefeitura já concluiu a implantação de estacas-prancha, tecnologia utilizada no mundo todo, para evitar que a movimentação do mar degrade a parede da calçadinha. As estacas-prancha possuem encaixes que permitem formar uma parede de retenção contínua. Além disso, foi feita a recomposição da área que sofreu erosão para nivelamento da calçada.
Serviço em andamento – Na atual fase da obra, a Prefeitura está fazendo a reestruturação da própria calçadinha, localizada na Avenida Cabo Branco entre o número 4.492 e a rotatória que dá acesso à ladeira. Estão sendo refeitas a calçada e a ciclofaixa, bem como a implantação de paisagismo, bancos, academias da terceira idade e do espaço de contemplação. O investimento total é de R$ 7,4 milhões.
