Funjope lança editais João Balula e Multiáreas com premiações de R$ 1,5 milhão
A Fundação Cultural de João Pessoa (Funjope) abriu inscrições para dois editais do Fundo Municipal de Cultura (FMC) que, juntos, somam R$ 1,5 milhão em premiações. As inscrições para o Edital Prêmio João Balula, no valor de R$ 200 mil, e para o Edital Multiáreas, para o qual será disponibilizado o valor total de R$ 1,3 milhão, começaram nesta quarta-feira (22) e seguem até o dia 5 de julho.
O prefeito Cícero Lucena comemora mais essa importante realização para a área cultural de João Pessoa. “É uma notícia que nos alegra muito em anunciar mais esse aporte de recursos para premiar a produção e, principalmente, os agentes culturais e artistas de nossa Capital. Todos que trabalharam para isso estão de parabéns”, comentou.
Para os dois editais, as inscrições devem ser feitas exclusivamente pela internet na plataforma JPCultura, no endereço eletrônico http://jpcultura.joaopessoa.pb.gov.br/. Serão selecionadas até 50 iniciativas culturais para premiação no valor unitário de R$ 4 mil.
O diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves, afirmou que estes editais têm uma grande importância para a Prefeitura de João Pessoa. “Nós estamos restaurando uma política de cultura forte na cidade. É preciso sempre lembrar que, desde 2016, não temos edital nessa área de multicultura utilizando o Fundo Municipal de Cultura. Então, é um compromisso do prefeito Cícero Lucena, na nossa gestão, fazer esse edital”, declarou.
Ele enfatizou que houve muito diálogo, antes da construção do edital, com os fóruns de cultura, movimentos culturais e Conselho Municipal de Cultura. “Hoje estamos celebrando esse momento de lançamento desse edital que vai estimular grande parte das nossas atividades culturais. Estamos falando de R$ 1,5 milhão, sendo que parte desse recurso é destinada às culturas de origem negra, um edital especificamente voltado para a cultura dos artistas pretos e pretas, que é o edital João Balula, que foi um líder da inclusão dos artistas pretos e pretas na cidade de João Pessoa, do movimento negro como um todo”, explicou Marcus Alves.
Para o diretor, lançar o edital multiculturas é um momento muito significativo e importante para a Funjope. “Estamos preenchendo um grande vazio que existia em nossa cidade, já que desde 2016 não tínhamos um edital ligado ao FMC das multiculturas”, acrescentou.
João Balula – O edital João Balula, disponível no link, homenageia esse ativista pelos direitos civis da população negra e pela cultura afro-brasileira em João Pessoa e na Paraíba. A iniciativa visa premiar iniciativas artísticas e culturais não iniciadas, em andamento ou realizadas de artistas, artesãos, trabalhadores da cultura/mestres autodeclarados negros; grupos, coletivos e/ou comunidades tradicionais de matriz africanas e de terreiros geridas por pessoas negras com ou sem constituição jurídica, sem fins lucrativos, com natureza ou finalidade cultural, em prol da diversidade artístico- cultural no município de João Pessoa.
Multiáreas – O edital Multiáreas, que deve ser acessado no link, tem por objeto a seleção para incentivo a 74 projetos nas áreas de música, dança, teatro, circo, culturas populares, artes visuais, fotografia, audiovisual e artes integradas que acontecerão no período de 2024/2025.
Todos os proponentes devem estar cadastrados na plataforma JPCultura, no endereço eletrônico http://jpcultura.joaopessoa.pb.gov.br. O edital e o formulário padrão estão disponíveis no Portal da Transparência da Prefeitura de João Pessoa, no link.
Para ser selecionado, o projeto deve envolver manifestações e iniciativas que se enquadrem nos seguintes elos da cadeia produtiva da cultura: produção e criação artístico-cultural; formação, qualificação e pesquisa; patrimônio cultural, memória, salvaguarda e conservação; desenvolvimento de projetos; circulação e distribuição.
Do total de vagas, 20% são destinadas a artistas negros; 10% a artistas LGBTQIAPN+; 10% à pessoa com deficiência (PcD); 10% para povos originários e comunidades tradicionais; e 50% a ampla concorrência.
