Parque Arruda Câmara tem programação especial para pessoas com deficiência e familiares
O Parque Zoobotânico Arruda Câmara (Bica) abriu os portões neste dia 18 de maio para mais uma edição do ‘Sábado Inclusivo’, com uma programação especial voltada às pessoas com deficiência (PCD), seus familiares e amigos. O encontro, com entrada gratuita para o público alvo, garantiu inclusão, diversão e aprendizado sobre o meio ambiente.
O educador ambiental do Parque, Glauber Travassos, explicou que o projeto é voltado aos PCDs de todas as idades e suas famílias, com a proposta que eles desfrutem de atividades adaptadas, como jogos de tabuleiro, onde a pessoa é o próprio pivô para andar. A programação também inclui exposição de animais taxidermizado (empalhado), entre outras atividades.
Maria Gorete, moradora do bairro de Cruz das Armas, foi uma das mães que marcou presença no evento. Ela ressaltou que considera importante esse tipo de atividade para auxiliar nas relações dos PCDs com suas famílias e a sociedade. “Precisamos de mais atividades desse tipo na cidade, pois toda a atenção é necessária”, pontuou.
Já Rafael de Oliveira Moura mora em Natal, no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, e estava visitando a Bica pela primeira vez neste sábado. Ele aproveitou para conhecer o projeto e parabenizou a iniciativa da direção do parque em priorizar as pessoas com deficiência, oferecendo opções de lazer junto às suas famílias.
“Sem contar que é um espaço maravilhoso, com muito verde, animais. É gratificante passar essa experiência tanto para as crianças quanto para os adultos”, frisou.

O espaço está aberto ao público de terça a domingo, das 8h às 17h, com entrada até as 16h. Crianças até 7 anos e idosos são isentos da taxa de entrada que é de R$ 3,00.
