A Prefeitura de Sorocaba anunciou a realização de serviços de melhorias urbanísticas em área pública no Jardim Aeroporto, na Zona Oeste da cidade. A medida vai atender, sobretudo, aos moradores de comunidade que vivem em situação de vulnerabilidade social. Um ato foi realizado no local, no fim da tarde desta terça-feira (14), para marcar os trabalhos, contando com a participação de representantes da Administração Municipal e da Câmara de Vereadores.
Equipes da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo) já realizaram o nivelamento de vias de terra, sendo que a colocação de material fresado de asfalto será colocado nesta semana, para melhorar o pavimento. Ao passo que a principal via do bairro, a Rua Viterbina César de Castro, será pavimentada com o apoio da iniciativa privada, com obras que começam em 60 dias. Também serão executados serviços de roçagem e poda.
A iniciativa também conta com a atuação da Secretaria de Habitação e Regularização Fundiária (Sehab), além da Secretaria de Governo (Segov), esta última incluindo a participação dos representantes do programa Concilia. Esse setor atua, sobretudo, na oferta de apoio e assistência gratuita à população, voltados à resolução de conflitos judiciais e de execução fiscal, a fim de proporcionar mais agilidade a várias ações do Município.
