Prefeitura conclui pavimentação asfáltica na Rua Zilda Nunes da Silva e inicia trabalhos em mais duas vias

A Prefeitura de João Pessoa, através programa ‘Asfalto Novo’, da Secretaria de Infraestrutura, concluiu o asfaltamento de mais uma importante via na Capital. Trata-se da Rua Zilda Nunes da Silva, no Portal do Sol, que agora torna-se uma alternativa importante de mobilidade urbana para quem acessa o bairro do Altiplano.

Com a conclusão das obras na Rua Zilda Nunes da Silva, que tem extensão de 1,2 quilômetro e foi executada com investimento de R$ 960 mil, o programa chegou a marca de 188 vias e cerca de 90 km de pavimentação asfáltica por toda a cidade. O investimento nestas vias passa dos R$ 67 milhões.

“A Prefeitura de João Pessoa está trabalhando para dar mais mobilidade e velocidade aos deslocamentos na cidade, num trabalho da Seinfra, que executa, e da Semob, que faz o planejamento. Aqui, por exemplo, é uma via que cria uma alternativa à avenida João Cirilo da Silva e cria um pavimento muito mais confortável”, destacou o secretário-executivo de Infraestrutura, Luciano Pereira.

Uma rua foi concluída e outras duas tiveram suas obras iniciadas nos últimos dias. A Avenida Pombal e a Rua Comerciante Jaime Carvalho Tavares, no bairro de Manaíra, com extensões de 1,6 quilômetro e 200 metros, respectivamente, já estão com serviços em andamento. O investimento das duas vias passa de R$ 1,4 milhão.

Além das 188 ruas ou avenidas já concluídas, a Secretaria de Infraestrutura já licitou outras 18 vias. O investimento para esse novo lote de asfaltamento é de aproximadamente R$ 25 milhões.
