Apoio do Governo de SP a desabrigados no RS é ampliado com helicóptero Águia
Aeronave com equipe especializada em operações de salvamento vai ao município de Lajeado; cidades gaúchas são afetadas por chuvas
O Governo de São Paulo reforçou, no início da tarde desta quarta-feira (1), o apoio das forças estaduais de segurança à população afetada por chuvas extremas e enchentes no Rio Grande do Sul. Uma equipe de salvamento aéreo da Polícia Militar a bordo do helicóptero Águia 12 foi enviada ao estado gaúcho para auxiliar as equipes gaúchas para operações de localização e resgate de vítimas de inundações.
A equipe é formada por seis tripulantes especializados em resgate aéreo. O helicóptero Águia 12 deve chegar ainda nesta tarde ao município de Lajeado, localizado próximo ao Rio Taquari. Mais cedo, uma equipe da Defesa Civil de São Paulo foi enviada à cidade gaúcha para auxílio às vítimas e apoio técnico às autoridades gaúchas.
A aeronave da PM paulista é equipada com guincho elétrico, maca de montanha e mantas térmicas para atendimento a possíveis vítimas com hipotermia em decorrência das inundações, além de outros acessórios para salvamento. Após a chegada a Lajeado, o grupo paulista vai avaliar a necessidade de reforço no apoio com mais um helicóptero Águia.
A Secretaria da Segurança Pública do Estado de São Paulo também mantém um avião King Air em condições de apoiar o transporte de equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros e da Defesa Civil do Estado e cães farejadores até o sul do país, além de mais materiais para ações de salvamento e ajuda humanitária.

Na manhã desta quarta, uma equipe da Defesa Civil do de São Paulo foi enviada ao Rio Grande do Sul. Um geólogo do Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT) também integra o grupo.
Desde a última terça (30), municípios gaúchos enfrentam enchentes provocadas por chuvas extremas, com acumulados que superam 300 mm em um período de 24 horas. Há dez mortes confirmadas, 21 desaparecidos e cerca de 2 mil desabrigados e desalojados, de acordo com o Governo do Rio Grande do Sul.
Os agentes da Defesa Civil vão auxiliar as autoridades gaúchas na gestão da crise. Os profissionais são especializados na avaliação de cenários de desastres naturais e vão apoiar a coordenação de abrigos emergências, logística humanitária, e geoprocessamento de dados relacionados ao clima.
O Governo de São Paulo reforça o compromisso de colaboração e suporte mútuo entre os estados. A gestão estadual também está à disposição para ampliar o apoio técnico e humanitário à população do Rio Grande do Sul em caso de agravamento das chuvas extremas nos próximos dias.
