Fundhas tem recorde de admitidos no primeiro semestre

A Fundhas (Fundação Hélio Augusto de Souza) inicia 2024 com um novo recorde: 643 novos admitidos, sendo 123 jovens de 15 a 17 anos e 520 crianças de 6 a 14 anos.
Desde agosto de 2017 essa é a maior admissão única no primeiro semestre do ano letivo.
Os adolescentes já começaram as aulas e as crianças iniciam a jornada nesta segunda-feira (8).
Eles frequentam as 10 unidades e os 3 Centros de Inovação (Norte, Sul e Eugênio de Melo) espalhados por todas as regiões de São José dos Campos.
Fabrício e Dinalva levaram o filho Vítor, de 6 anos, para o primeiro dia de aulas na unidade Parque Industrial da Fundhas. “Vai ser importante para o futuro dele, estamos com muita expectativa”, disse o pai.
Susan Medeiros frequentou a Fundhas 20 anos atrás e quer ver a filha Clara seguir o mesmo caminho. “Ela estava esperando já há um ano e quando nos chamaram ficamos muito felizes. É um complemento do dia com a escola e a gente apoia muito esses projetos escolares”, afirmou.
Acolhida
Na última sexta-feira (5), os pais dos novos admitidos foram recebidos em todas as unidades para uma reunião de acolhida com os gestores. Um momento importante para aqueles que vão iniciar uma nova jornada.
“Estamos ansiosos, meu filho Rafael está muito empolgado. É bom ter esse esclarecimento sobre como funciona a Fundhas”, disse Mayumi Honda, que participou da reunião na unidade Parque Industrial.
A manutenção e ampliação do atendimento às crianças, adolescentes e jovens na Fundhas integra o Plano de Gestão 2021-2024.
Emancipação social
A Fundhas, que completará 37 anos no próximo dia 26 de abril, é mantida pela Prefeitura de São José e é o maior projeto social de São José.
Atende crianças, adolescentes e jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade social, no contraturno escolar, com o objetivo de transformar suas trajetórias de vida, garantindo emancipação social, dignidade e novas oportunidades com ensino de qualidade, inovação e tecnologia.
Entre as principais ações desenvolvidas, estão projetos voltados à música, dança, teatro, artes, sustentabilidade e meio ambiente, comunicação e reforço escolar.
