Prefeitura entrega autorização para artesãos atuarem na Feira do Artesanato em 2024 na cidade de Sorocaba – Agência de Notícias

A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Relações do Trabalho e Qualificação Profissional (Sert) e com o apoio do Fundo Social de Solidariedade (FSS), entregou, na noite desta sexta-feira (5), a autorização de funcionamento ao longo do ano de 2024 a 37 profissionais da Associação Sorocabana de Artesanato (ASA). O documento foi entregue durante evento promovido na Universidade do Trabalhador, Empreendedor e Negócios (Uniten).
Durante o evento de entrega das autorizações de funcionamento, os profissionais da feira do artesanato receberam uma homenagem do Poder Público Municipal com um vídeo transmitido á todos os presentes, contando um pouco sobre a história da feira e todo o trabalho desenvolvido até o momento.
A presidente da ASA, Maria de Fátima Lima Picolo, destacou a importância da autorização para valorização do setor em Sorocaba. “Além de ser uma fonte de renda, a Feira do Artesanato tem papel inclusivo à todas as pessoas que possuem o desejo de empreender as habilidades como artesãos sem precisar abrir uma loja. Ela auxilia muitas famílias com o sustento de seus lares”, enfatizou.
Atualmente a Feira de Artesanato conta com 37 colaboradores, sendo 31 deles artesãos e mais seis que atuam em barracas de produtos alimentícios.
