Prefeitura de Sorocaba inicia construção da passarela e passeio público no Jardim Santa Luiza – Agência de Notícias

A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, nesta terça-feira (2) iniciou as obras de construção de uma passarela e de um passeio público em área que fica na Rua Marco Antônio Laino, no Jardim Santa Luíza, interligando esse bairro ao Parque das Paineiras, na Zona Norte da cidade.
As intervenções serão executadas pela empresa DCA Engenharia e Construções Ltda., em um prazo aproximado de 90 dias, viabilizadas a partir de recursos de emenda impositiva de vereador. O investimento total será de aproximadamente R$ 230 mil e os trabalhos serão gerenciados pela Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo).
“Moro há 33 anos no bairro, sempre pedimos essa melhoria e ninguém, até então, atendeu. Não queremos luxo, somente um cimento no chão e um acesso que facilite a vida de quem vai do Jardim Santa Luíza para o Parque das Paineiras e vice-versa”, disse a aposentada Elaine Aparecida da Silva, 61 anos, que acompanhou o ato de lançamento das obras.
A nova passarela, composta por estrutura metálica e com guarda-corpo de segurança, vai substituir uma antiga existente sobre o córrego no local, que é de madeira. A área no entorno também receberá completa urbanização. Os trabalhos de roçagem e limpeza também já começaram.
“Esse caminho é utilizado todos os dias pelas crianças, para ir e voltar da escola. Gosto muito desse bairro e tudo que o Poder Público puder fazer em ações será muito positivo para todos que moram por aqui”, comentou o aposentado Vicente de Paula Vieira, 75 anos.
Na ocasião, a Administração Municipal adiantou que o Jardim Santa Luíza também vai ganhar, em um segundo momento, uma academia ao ar livre e playground. Os espaços serão instalados também a partir de emenda impositiva via Câmara Municipal, que está sendo viabilizada.
