Ministro faz visita técnica ao aeroporto de São José

O ministro de Portos e Aeroportos, Silvio Costa Filho, realiza nesta segunda-feira (25) uma visita técnica a partir das 15h ao aeroporto de São José dos Campos. A agenda contará ainda com a presença do vice-governador de São Paulo, Felicio Ramuth, e autoridades municipais.
A visita do ministro ocorre dois dias antes da retomada dos voos de passageiros no terminal. Na quarta-feira (27), a GOL Linhas Aéreas passa a disponibilizar três frequências semanais de voos diretos ida e volta do aeroporto de São José para o RIOGaleão, no Rio de Janeiro.
Além da visita técnica, também estará em pauta a possibilidade de o terminal de São José dos Campos se tornar o quarto aeroporto na região expandida de São Paulo.
Atualmente três aeroportos, Guarulhos, Congonhas e Viracopos, compõem o eixo chamado de Terminal São Paulo. Juntos, representam aproximadamente 35% do tráfego aéreo do país.
Por operarem sobrecarregados, o ministro Costa Filho anunciou no final do ano passado estudos para avaliar a construção de um novo aeroporto próximo à capital.
“Em vez da construção de um novo terminal, acreditamos que é mais viável aproveitar a excelente estrutura do nosso aeroporto. Vamos discutir com o ministro Silvio Costa Filho o planejamento para investimentos e expansão do aeroporto de São José para atender essa demanda”, afirmou o diretor da SJK Airport, Ronei Glanzmann.
Desde novembro de 2022, a SJK Airport detém a concessão do aeroporto local por um período de 30 anos e com previsão de investimentos que podem chegar a R$ 120 milhões.
Voo inaugural
Na próxima quarta-feira, a partir das 21h, a SJK Airport vai promover um evento no terminal para marcar a retomada dos voos comerciais de passageiros.
A aeronave, operada pela GOL Linhas Aéreas, partirá do Rio de Janeiro e tem previsão de pouso às 23h no terminal de São José. Logo após, haverá o “batismo” da aeronave com a presença de convidados e autoridades.
Os voos entre São José e Rio de Janeiro serão operados pela GOL Linhas Aéreas. Eles partirão do SJK Airport às segundas, quintas e aos sábados, às 6h20, aterrissando no Rio de Janeiro às 7h25.
