Subprefeitura de Jacarepaguá e Seop impedem evento de pega na Avenida Abelardo Bueno – Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro
Uma operação da Subprefeitura de Jacarepaguá e da Secretaria Municipal de Ordem Pública (Seop) impediu a realização de um evento clandestino de pega na Avenida Abelardo Bueno, em Jacarepaguá, na noite de quinta-feira (29/2). A ação contou com o apoio da Polícia Militar, Guarda Municipal, Detran e Coordenação de Licenciamento e Fiscalização (CLF).
Em junho do ano passado, uma operação como essa foi realizada pela subprefeitura. Após inúmeras novas denúncias de moradores que reclamavam da desordem causada por um grupo de jovens de classe média e alta que exibiam carros de luxo e tunados para apostar corridas na avenida e entorno, levando transtorno e medo à população, foi necessário realizar uma nova operação. O crime de pega é caracterizado pela participação em corrida, disputa ou competição automobilística ou ainda de exibição ou demonstração de perícia em manobra de veículo automotor, em via pública. O condutor que é flagrado realizando racha comete uma infração gravíssima, perde 7 pontos na carteira e recebe uma multa no valor de R$ 2.934,70.
A subprefeita de Jacarepaguá, Marli Peçanha, esteve presente no local e falou sobre os perigos da atividade.
– Nosso objetivo é manter a ordem e trazer tranquilidade para os moradores e comerciantes. As pessoas precisam entender que leis devem ser respeitadas.
