Durante a forte chuva da manhã desta sexta-feira (23/2), uma árvore foi derrubada e provocou a queda de postes e da rede elétrica em uma praça do bairro Sion, na região Centro-Sul de Belo Horizonte.
Com a ocorrência, a família que estava no interior de um veículo atingidos pelos cabos precisou aguardar a equipe da Cemig para deixar o local em segurança. Dessa forma, companhia orienta a população sobre os cuidados que todos devem ter em relação a ocorrências na rede elétrica que envolvam situações de fios partidos.
Demetrio Aguiar, engenheiro eletricista da Cemig, alerta que uma das ocorrências mais comuns durante tempestades intensas é exatamente o fio partido. “Isso ocorre principalmente quando há quedas de árvores sobre a rede elétrica ou quando objetos são lançados em direção aos cabos, por força dos ventos”, explica.
Segundo o engenheiro, caso as pessoas se deparem com um fio partido, elas não devem se aproximar ou tocar no cabeamento e, se possível, não devem também permitir que outras pessoas se aproximem.
“Nos casos em que condutores rompidos caiam sobre veículos, é muito provável que, ao sair do automóvel, a pessoa sofra um choque elétrico, que pode ser de até 13,8 mil volts, caso seja uma rede de média tensão”, complementa o engenheiro.
Demetrio Aguiar explica que, em ocorrências deste tipo, as pessoas devem deixar o veículo apenas em casos de incêndio. Mas, mesmo nesses casos, os passageiros devem observar algumas situações, como saltar o mais longe possível do automóvel e sem tocar na lataria.
“O único caso em que a pessoa deve deixar o veículo imediatamente é em situações de incêndio. Nessas ocasiões, se for necessário sair do veículo, a pessoa nunca deve tocar a estrutura do automóvel e no solo ao mesmo tempo, porque ele se tornará o caminho entre a corrente elétrica e o solo. Isso pode ser fatal ou causar queimaduras gravíssimas. O correto é que a pessoa abra a porta e salte de forma a não tocar no veículo e no solo ao mesmo tempo e sempre longe do cabo partido. Ao cair no solo a pessoa deve andar em passos curtos até se afastar do veículo ou do cabo partido. Apesar da dificuldade da manobra, esta é a única forma de evitar o choque elétrico”, detalha.

Se uma árvore cair na frente de alguma residência, a recomendação é nunca tentar retirá-la ou cortá-la, e chamar o corpo de bombeiros para a retirada da vegetação caída.
