Cícero Lucena autoriza obras de reconstrução da Escola Bilíngue Dom José Maria Pires, entrega kits pedagógicos e fardamento aos alunos
A Escola Bilíngue Dom José Maria Pires, no Alto do Mateus, será reconstruída pela Prefeitura de João Pessoa, com investimento de R$ 2,5 milhões, para oferecer mais qualidade no aprendizado dos 270 alunos. Nesta sexta-feira (16), o prefeito Cícero Lucena autorizou o início das obras na unidade, que vai ganhar espaços para jogos, uma ligação do prédio com o ginásio, além de um projeto novo de climatização, acessibilidade e cobertura.
Durante solenidade, o prefeito lembrou que a atual gestão municipal encontrou 45 unidades com obras paralisadas ou necessitando de recuperação, sendo que 34 já foram entregues. O gestor ainda reforçou que as obras colocam as escolas em padrão de excelência, com uma estrutura nova, mais adequada as necessidades dos alunos e ainda promovem inclusão, uso de tecnologia e uma pedagogia muito mais desafiadora, com projetos educacionais, de cultura e esportes.
“Ter a oportunidade de formar os nossos alunos, prepará-los junto com a tecnologia que as nossas escolas têm hoje, o que há de mais moderno, utilizado no mundo na área de Educação, sala Google, sala Make, tablet, Chromebooks, tecnologia de óculos 3D, além de itens de segurança, como reconhecimento facial na entrada, que avisa se o aluno está na escola ou não, o monitoramento por câmera em todas as nossas escolas, interligada com a Guarda Civil Metropolitana e ar-condicionado nas salas. São conquistas que, sem dúvida nenhuma, estão fazendo a Educação do Município com a qualidade que nós desejamos para as nossas crianças”, afirmou o prefeito, que também participou da entrega de fardamento e kits pedagógicos na unidade.
A secretária de Educação e Cultura do Município, América Castro, disse que a Escola Dom José Maria Pires consta como projeto inacabado junto ao Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (FNDE). “Inclusive, existe um processo da empresa com a Prefeitura e estamos vendo como é que faz, através de um acordo, para liquidar de vez para encerrar e poder ficar livre também junto ao FNDE. Então, quando se abre o sistema do FNDE, consta ainda como inacabada, que foi inaugurada com vício de construção. Mas, com a orientação que a gente tem da Secretaria de Infraestrutura, sem dúvida nenhuma, vamos fazer uma coberta diferenciada para acabar definitivamente com todas essas agonias que existem nessa unidade”, explicou.
A solenidade também foi prestigiada pelo deputado federal Hugo Motta, que elogiou a revolução que a gestão municipal vem promovendo no ensino da Capital. “Lembrar de como estava a Educação do Município, lá em 2021, e como está hoje, após três anos de muito trabalho, de muita luta para poder colocar João Pessoa no lugar que ela merece, que é ter uma das melhores educações não só do nosso Estado, mas do nosso País. As inovações foram em todas as áreas, trazendo modernização, acesso à tecnologia, inovando no ensino e cuidando do maior patrimônio que a Educação da nossa Capital tem, que são os nossos professores, os nossos alunos”, afirmou.
A diretora da Escola Bilíngue Dom José Maria Pires, Aline Paes, disse que a unidade, de apenas seis anos, sempre enfrentou problemas estruturais, principalmente no período chuvoso. Ela agradeceu o olhar da gestão municipal, de iniciar uma reconstrução de todo o prédio para impactar na qualidade do ensino e conforto para os alunos.
“A gente, todo dia, tem que tirar água da escola, porque parece uma enchente aqui. O nosso grande ‘calcanhar de Aquiles’ é o telhado. Também tem as salas com grandes problemas nos aparelhos de ar-condicionado, então, isso aí é uma coisa que a gente sabe que quando resolver o telhado, vai resolver também o caso desses equipamentos, porque eles pingam dentro da sala de aula. E só em trazer essa qualidade, conforto, a gente não está se preocupando, trocando aluno de sala o tempo todo, será um alívio. E não ficar com essa enchente que acontece aqui, já não tenho palavras, estou muito feliz”, agradeceu.
A aluna Eloísa Chapran agradeceu ao prefeito a autorização para que a gestão promova uma reconstrução na unidade e leve todas as inovações que estão chegando em todas as escolas. Ela também ficou feliz com o recebimento do material escolar, fardamento e kit pedagógico. “Esse conjunto de coisas tem tudo a ver com a melhora do nosso aprendizado. O ambiente, o incentivo através da qualidade do material, da reforma completa que a gente vai ter aqui. Tudo isso vai refletir no nosso aprendizado, por isso que eu estou muito feliz”, comemorou.
Intervenções na escola – Modernização da fachada, construção de coberta para interligar a escola ao ginásio, construção de espaços para jogos e redário, revisão e recuperação de cobertas, reparos e substituição da rede hidrossanitária, substituição de louças e metais, pintura da edificação, recuperação, substituição e inserção de novas esquadrias, recuperação e manutenção do reservatório d’água inferior e superior, execução de projeto elétrico e subestação, execução de projeto de climatização, manutenção, recuperação e substituição de pisos, além da adequação da acessibilidade.
