Secretaria da Mulher vai participar da lavagem da pista da Sapucaí – Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro
A Secretaria de Políticas e Promoção da Mulher irá participar da tradicional cerimônia de lavagem da pista da Marquês de Sapucaí, neste sábado (3/2), reta final dos ensaios técnicos. O desfile terá a presença de mais de 200 mulheres, que frequentam os equipamentos da Secretaria da Mulher, e irão desfilar pela avenida carregando as faixas “Carnaval + Seguro para as mulheres”, “Respeita as minas” e “Depois do não, é assédio”. Antes do desfile, as mulheres irão se reunir no Circo Crescer e Viver para participar da capacitação do Stand Up, plataforma da L’Oréal Paris de treinamento contra o assédio nas ruas. Também irão realizar uma oficina de customização de camisas e abadás.
A ação faz parte da campanha Carnaval + Seguro para as mulheres, que tem como objetivo conscientizar a população sobre o combate ao assédio. Para a secretária da Mulher, Joyce Trindade, a campanha reafirma o compromisso em garantir a segurança das mulheres.
– O carnaval é a maior festa da nossa cultura e precisa ser também uma época em que todas as mulheres se sintam seguras. Estaremos na Sapucaí reforçando a nossa missão de assegurar que as mulheres tenham sua dignidade garantida e conscientizando a população sobre o combate à violência. Sempre é tempo de enfatizar que depois do não, é assédio. Queremos promover um carnaval com respeito e acolhimento para todas – afirma Joyce.
A iniciativa Rio + Seguro para as mulheres teve início no Réveillon de 2022, e, pelo segundo ano consecutivo, acontece em um dos maiores eventos culturais do Brasil, reforçando o compromisso da Secretaria da Mulher com a vida e a segurança das mulheres.
