Dívida Zero beneficia contribuinte e arrecada R$ 49,3 milhões

O Dívida Zero, programa que ofereceu a chance de contribuintes ficarem em dia com a Prefeitura de São José dos Campos, resultou na arrecadação de R$ 49,3 milhões no período de adesão, entre 13 setembro de 2023 e 28 de dezembro de 2023.
Em 9.702 casos, houve quitação à vista do débito. Foram firmados 8.232 acordos de parcelamento.
O Dívida Zero ofereceu condições especiais para quem, por algum motivo, deixou de pagar IPTU, ISS, ITBI e outras taxas públicas, inclusive com opção de parcelamento.
Se for levado em conta os parcelamentos efetuados, estima-se a arrecadação de cerca de R$ 53 milhões para este ano.
Anistia
A Prefeitura anistiou automaticamente os débitos de até R$ 1.807, além de ter oferecido descontos entre 65% e 85% nos juros e multas para as dívidas com valores superiores.
Esta foi mais uma medida para estimular a retomada econômica na cidade após a pandemia de covid-19.
Os acordos abrangeram créditos tributários e não tributários inscritos em dívida ativa, até 31 de dezembro de 2022, ajuizados ou não. O programa teve uma vertente social e não arrecadatória.

A anistia dos valores até R$ 1.807 para o CPF ou o CNPJ, em uma única inscrição, ocorreu de forma automática e os contribuintes beneficiados receberam uma carta com a informação. Cerca de 60 mil CPFs e CNPJs foram beneficiados.
