UBSs de Sorocaba passam a emitir a Declaração de Vacinação Atualizada (DVA) nesta quinta-feira (17) – Noticias

Apresentação do documento que atesta a vacinação completa de estudantes é necessária durante a matrícula escolar de crianças e adolescentes de 0 a 18 anos
A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SES), em parceria com a Secretaria da Educação (Sedu), iniciará, nesta quinta-feira (17), a emissão da Declaração de Vacinação Atualizada (DVA), nas 33 Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBSs) de Sorocaba.
O documento visa comprovar a carteira de vacinação completa e atualizada de estudantes de 0 a 18, no ato da matrícula escolar. A declaração abrange todas as escolas, das redes públicas e privadas, que ofereçam Educação Infantil, Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio.
Após o período pandêmico da Covid-19 e normalização das atividades letivas, o Governo do Estado estabeleceu a declaração para os municípios em 2023. Sorocaba então aderiu à recomendação já para este ano letivo de 2024.
A apresentação da declaração deverá ser feita junto à carteira de vacinação, no ato da matrícula, e segue a determinação da Lei nº 17.252, de 17 de Março de 2020, do Governo do Estado de São Paulo, tendo como objetivo incentivar a vacinação, bem como proteger crianças e adolescentes de doenças de forma preventiva com a aplicação dos imunizantes que compõem o calendário nacional de vacinação.
Conforme o artigo 4°, da Lei n° 17.252/2020, a falta da apresentação da carteira de vacinação atualizada, com a Declaração de Vacinação Atualizada, não será impeditivo para a realização da matrícula do estudante. Entretanto, os pais ou responsáveis legais terão o prazo de 60 dias para regularizar a situação vacinal, sob pena de comunicação imediata ao Conselho Tutelar para providências.
