Basquete feminino tem 4 nomes entre os melhores do ano

O São José Basketball Feminino é o grande destaque da premiação dos Melhores do Ano da FPB – Federação Paulista de Basquete – em 2023. A equipe joseense recebeu a notificação de que quatro prêmios serão dedicados ao clube.
Com uma temporada brilhante, as joseenses começaram o ano conquistando o Brasileiro Interclubes Sub-20 em março e levantaram diversos troféus na temporada, desde o sub-12 até o sub-23, encerrando o ano com o Campeonato Paulista Sub-20 em dezembro.
Na tarde do último sábado (23), a Federação Paulista de Basquete informou que as atletas Yasmin Dias, Tita e Letícia Rechembak, além do treinador Leandro Leal, foram escolhidos como representantes do time joseense na premiação.
Yasmin Dias (foto acima) foi escolhida como Melhor Jogadora da categoria Sub-13, após temporada muito regular. Rechembak, após se recuperar da lesão do joelho, foi escolhida como Melhor Jogadora da categoria Sub-20, que ainda teve o treinador Leandro Leal indicado como Melhor Treinador (foto abaixo).
O São José teve ainda a atleta Letícia Santos, mais conhecida como Tita (foto abaixo), escolhida como Atleta Revelação da categoria adulta, após um Paulista muito regular.
Tais conquistas reforçam o compromisso no ressurgimento e fortalecimento do projeto feminino de São José dos Campos, reforçando e dando todo o apoio a base, para que a categoria adulta, que voltou nesta temporada, tenha onde colher os frutos no futuro.
Para o treinador Leandro Leal, as conquistas representam muito o que vêm sendo feito nos bastidores.
“Os prêmios representam muito. Nós viemos desenvolvendo isso tudo há muito tempo e renascendo o basquete em São José, agora é apenas consequência do trabalho bem feito”, disse o treinador.
O time joseense segue em recesso das quadras, mas trabalhando nos bastidores pensando e planejando a temporada de 2024.
